Birmingham in 1916

In my role as Librarian I in the Southern History Department at Birmingham Public Library,
• Researched and wrote all content utilizing newspaper articles from 1916 Birmingham newspapers accessed from microfilm.
• Built the digital exhibit utilizing Photoswipe.
• Thematic categories of library, leisure, blue laws, typhoid, foreign relations, and World War I.
• Fulfilled a LSTA grant requirement to use the newly purchased digital microfilm scanners to access newspaper content and curate a digital exhibit.
