In my role as Special Collections and Digital Initiatives Librarian at The University of Alabama,
• Served as grant personnel for the National Endowment for the Humanities/Library of Congress National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP) grant.
• Wrote the vendor request for proposal.
• Transformed NDNP-compliant metadata.
• Used existing PDFs with OCR to create newspaper digital collections containing 100,810 newspaper pages in CONTENTdm.
